A wild and demanding alpine journey retracing the paths of the medieval Dukes of Savoie. 145 kilometers from Courmayeur, Italy to Chamonix, France with 9,500 meters of climbing through remote, technical mountain terrain. One of the marquee races of UTMB week, the TDS is renowned for its rugged character, spectacular high-alpine scenery, and deep competition among the world's best mountain runners.
