Dawn Tuffery

Dawn Tuffery is a New Zealand ultra runner, artist, and coach who has been one of her country's most decorated competitors in road and track ultra disciplines for nearly two decades. A six-time New Zealand champion across the 100km and 24-hour events, she has represented New Zealand at six IAU World Championships and Asia-Oceania Championships, recording personal bests of 8:41 for 100km and 202km in the 24-hour format. Her trail results include a third-place finish at the 2012 Tarawera 85k and fourth at the 2013 Kepler Challenge. Certified through UESCA's ultrarunning qualification and Lydiard Level 2, she now coaches athletes through the Squad Run NZ team, focusing on building confidence and genuine enjoyment of the training process rather than grinding results. Beyond running, she maintains a parallel career as a professional artist.
