About

Desiree Linden (known as Des Linden) is an American runner from Michigan who won the 2018 Boston Marathon — the first American woman to win in 33 years — and holds the women's 50km world record (2:59:54). After announcing the end of her marathon career in 2024, she transitioned to ultra and trail running, competing at the Marathon des Sables in 2026. A Brooks-sponsored athlete, a published author, and a co-founder of Rabbit running apparel, Linden is one of the most beloved figures in American distance running.
