Diego Pazos

Diego 'Zpeedy' Pazos is a Swiss ultrarunner from Lausanne who works as a scientific expert for the Swiss Federal Police and co-organises the Montreux Trail Festival. Co-winner of the inaugural Oman by UTMB alongside Jason Schlarb — they crossed the finish line arm in arm after collaborating over the final 20km — he has also placed 7th at UTMB and 4th at the Diagonale des Fous. Known for his distinctive bow tie and moustache, Pazos brings a quirky, adventurous spirit to elite mountain ultrarunning.
