The sky-high counterpart to Western States. 165km through Colorado's San Juan Mountains with over 10,000m of climbing, the entire course sits above 2,800m elevation. The Hardrock course alternates direction annually and is widely regarded as the most technically demanding 100-miler in North America — finishing runners kiss the iconic hardrock.
