Don Reichelt is an American professional ultrarunner based in Fairplay, Colorado, who works full-time at the wearable technology company Oura Ring alongside his elite racing career. He holds a 100-mile trail best of 13:16, set at the Tunnel Hill 100 in November 2020 — one of the fastest 100-mile times run in North America that year — and has finished on the podium at the brutal Badwater 135 across Death Valley. In 2017 he represented the United States on the national Spartathlon team, covering the 153 miles from Athens to Sparta, and he is a Leadville Leadman finisher. His victories include the 2019 Lean Horse 100-Mile, the 2020 Coldwater Rumble 20-Mile, the 2021 Salt Flats Endurance Run 50K, and back-to-back wins at the Coldwater Rumble 52-Mile in 2022 and 2023, and he was crowned the 2023 USA 24-Hour National Champion. In 2022, testing Speedland gear on a manual treadmill, he broke three world records in a single effort: farthest distance in 12 hours (65.63 miles), farthest distance in 24 hours (114.24 miles), and fastest 100 miles (19:52:24) — a demonstration of raw aerobic durability that made headlines well beyond the trail running world.
