Dusan Mravlje is a Slovenian ultrarunner from Tržič whose career, spanning 1979 to 2009, covered 88 races and more than 32,000 km. He was one of the most consistent Spartathlon competitors of the 1980s, finishing runner-up three times — 1983 (24:39:22), 1984 (24:40:38), and 1985 (23:44:00) — and taking 3rd in 1996 (27:55:00), before returning for further finishes in 2007 and 2008. He won the 1995 Trans America Footrace outright over 2,906 miles, placed 3rd in the 2001 Trans-Australia Footrace (4,274.5 km), and was runner-up at the 2000 Badwater Ultramarathon in 25:21:20.
