Emilie Mann is a Canadian ultrarunner from Fernie, British Columbia, now based in Kelowna, who has risen to become one of the top trail racers in the country. She began in road marathons before moving to trail ultras, finding early success at 50K and 50-mile distances before stepping up to the 100-mile distance. In 2019 she won the Kal Park Dirty Feet 50K near Vernon, BC — not realizing until after the fact that the race doubled as a World Mountain Running Championships qualifier — and went on to represent Canada at the Worlds in Argentina. Her breakout performance came at the Run Rabbit Run 100 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, where she won her 100-mile debut outright against a world-class field in a new course record of 19 hours 48 minutes 5 seconds, becoming the first woman to break 20 hours on the course and placing 8th overall. She has also podiumed at the Desert Rats 100K in Utah, cementing her position among Canada's strongest ultra-distance competitors.
