Evan Namkung

Evan Namkung is an American ultrarunner based in Bend, Oregon, where he also works as a social worker and volunteers with search-and-rescue. He placed third at the 2015 Canyons Endurance Runs 100K in Northern California, finishing in 12:09:27 behind a competitive West Coast field, and has logged more than twenty results on the US ultra circuit in the years since. Outside of running, Namkung is also a visual artist known locally for street-art-influenced murals and paintings, with work displayed around Bend including on the Box Factory Breezeway and the downtown parking garage. He has continued to race regularly across the Pacific Northwest ultra scene in the years since his Canyons podium.
