Italian ultramarathon runner born March 3, 1967, affiliated with the club Polisportiva Zola Predosa near Bologna. Per DUV Ultra Marathon Statistics, he competed in 11 recorded ultramarathon events between 1996 and 2016, covering a combined 891.2 km. His standout results came at the Marathon des Sables in Morocco, where he placed 3rd overall in 1998 (17:47:20) and 2nd overall in 1999 (17:31:36). In later years he raced primarily in Italian events, winning the Tuscany Crossing 50km outright in 2016 (runner-up in 2015) and placing 4th overall at the Terre di Siena Ultramarathon in 2014, along with repeated age-category wins at the Cortina Trail between 2012 and 2015.
