Fiona Porte is a French trail runner born on 7 February 1989 in Guilherand-Granges who built a promising early career in mountain racing before injuries sidelined her for much of the period from 2013 to 2020. Her return to form has been remarkable: in 2023 she was virtually unbeatable on the French and international circuit, winning the MaXi-Race du Lac d'Annecy, the Lavaredo Ultra Trail by UTMB by over 45 minutes, and the Trail Nivolet-Revard, while also finishing second at TDS at UTMB Mont-Blanc. She held a UTMB Index of 739 at the peak of that run of form and races for Cimalp.
