Maree Connor is an Australian ultra-distance runner who has emerged as one of the country's strongest performers over the longest race formats, twice representing Australia internationally. She has won the Brisbane Trail Ultra 100 Mile twice and holds the course record, and has twice won the 240km Coast to Kosciuszko race. Stepping up to the international stage, she placed 3rd at the Badwater 135 in Death Valley, becoming the 10th-fastest woman ever to finish the race, and has also competed at the 246km Spartathlon from Athens to Sparta. She was named the 2023 Female Runner of the Year and took out that year's overall Performance of the Year award.
