Mick Donges is an Australian trail runner from the Blue Mountains in New South Wales who was among the leading figures in Australian trail running in the early 2010s. Training at altitude in the rugged Blue Mountains west of Sydney, he combined endurance with technical mountain running suited to the long, demanding races of the international circuit. Selected for the Salomon Australia Trail Running Team in 2012, he won the Tarawera Ultramarathon in New Zealand and the Two Bays Trail Run in Victoria, and showed his quality against world-class international competition at The North Face 100 in the Blue Mountains, finishing 6th in 2011 in a field that included Kilian Jornet and Ryan Sandes. He also represented Australia at the 2011 Commonwealth Ultra Trail Championships in Wales, where he placed 5th overall. He was profiled in Trail Run Magazine (edition #4), helping to raise the profile of the sport in Australia during a formative period for the local scene.
