About

Ragna Debats is a Dutch trail runner born in Catalonia, Spain who has become one of the most decorated multi-discipline mountain athletes of her generation. She won the Trail World Championship (2018), the Skyrunner World Series (2017), and the Marathon des Sables (2019) — becoming the first Dutch person to win the legendary 250km Sahara stage race. A former European snowshoe champion, she has competed across virtually every format from vertical kilometres to multi-day ultras and 100-mile mountain races, including top-ten finishes at Western States 100. Known for her tactical racing and ability to master radically different terrain, Debats is one of the sport's most versatile all-time performers.
