Audrey Tanguy is a French trail runner, physical education teacher, and mother from Saint Pierre d'Albigny in the Savoie Alps who became the first woman to win the TDS by UTMB in back-to-back years, claiming victories in 2018 and 2019 on the 145km route through the Alps. A consistent performer at the highest level of international trail racing, she placed sixth at Western States 100 in 2021 and has accumulated over ten race victories across her career. Tanguy holds a UTMB Index of 724 and has been ranked consistently among the top French women in the ITRA world rankings. She is known for her strength on technical mountain terrain and her ability to compete at elite level while balancing teaching and family life in the Alps.
