One of the most demanding races on the UTMB World Series calendar, Val d'Aran packs 10,000m of elevation gain into 163km through the remote high Pyrenees of the Aran Valley in Catalonia. The course crosses multiple cols above 2,600m in relentlessly technical alpine terrain, making it a true test of mountain running ability.
